      <description>&lt;p&gt;The microphone does matter. But consider that &lt;a href=&#34;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLc0KfstFH0&#34;&gt;this voiceover&lt;/a&gt; was recorded on a microphone that looked something &lt;a href=&#34;/posts/images/mic.jpg&#34;&gt;like this&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;While recording on a microphone like that should not be the priority, one can appreciate that what does matter; is the quality and ambience of your environment.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You&amp;rsquo;ll be surprised at what you can get away with as long as the backdrop is pin drop silence.&lt;/p&gt;
